Israel will never achieve its objectives in Iran

TEHRAN, Jan. 11 (MNA) – Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has strongly reacted to the Israel-backed unrest in Iranian cities, saying the Tel Aviv regime will not accomplish its goals against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In an interview with the TRT news channel on Saturday, Fidan said that the Israeli anticipation of the collapse of the Islamic establishment in Iran, through such tactics, would never materialize.

Referring to the long-inclination of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his regime for a change in governance in Iran, the top Turkish diplomat noted that "the issue is no more hidden," but said they were wrong in their calculation about the reaction of the Iranian people.

Fidan further underscored the political awakening of the Iranian nation, saying the Iranian nation are well aware of what, how, and to what extent to react on a particular issue.

He also raised the subject of anti-Iran pressure and actions by the United States and its Western allies, blaming them for making the situation more complex by putting forward irrational conditions whenever Iran chooses the path of negotiations.

Turkey's reaction came after the Iranian capital Tehran, and several other cities witnessed violent riots on Thursday and Friday nights, with the Israeli and US-backed saboteurs setting fire to public and private property, causing extensive damage.
